Job summary

The Director of Real-World Data (RWD) Strategy is tasked with identifying and implementing innovative access to real-world scientific data across various patient clinical domains in Europe. This role demands hands-on experience with RWD, strong leadership, and relationship management skills to ensure compliance and effectiveness in data application.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in the CRO, Pharma, or Data Vendor sectors.
• Deep understanding of the clinical research process and healthcare market.
• Broad experience in healthcare, scientific, and real-world data environments.
• Familiarity with major patient data models such as CDISC, OMOP, LOINC, FHIR, MEDra, and SnoMED.
• Proven ability to apply RWD solutions to clinical or commercial challenges.
• Experience in budget management and cost evaluation for RWD solutions.
• Master’s degree in biomedical informatics, public health, data science, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, client-ready RWD strategy materials for proposals.
• Represent RWD Strategy in client meetings and identify value-add opportunities.
• Execute a global RWD acquisition strategy and assess options to expand data access.
• Monitor and manage vendor capabilities and relationships, ensuring effective partnerships.
• Collaborate with technology teams to meet region-specific system architecture needs.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and stay informed on the RWD landscape in Europe.

Education
