Job summary

The role involves leading the Hardware Engineering team, focusing on optics, video processing, signal processing, battery management, mechanics, electronics, and industrial design. The director will set the technical direction and contribute to the product vision, ensuring successful project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in leading hardware engineering teams for consumer electronics.
• Broad technical knowledge in optics, video processing, signal processing, battery management, mechanics, and DFM/DFA for high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong program management skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Hardware team, ensuring high standards and effective collaboration.
• Set technical direction and manage the product vision from concept to mass production.
• Oversee program management for hardware initiatives, including realistic timelines and status reporting.
• Implement agile practices tailored for hardware development.
• Manage Capex/Opex budgets and vendor contracts for hardware components.
• Contribute to engineering standards and culture within the organization.

Education
