• Experience in regulated environments, particularly in health software.
• Experience in scaling engineering teams and establishing hiring processes.
• Familiarity with relevant technology stacks, including Python, FastAPI, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with product and regulatory goals.
• Hire, mentor, and lead the engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership.
• Collaborate with the Principal Engineer on architectural decisions and resource management.
• Act as the engineering liaison to product, clinical, and executive teams.
• Establish and maintain operational practices for reliability and incident response.
• Implement processes that enhance quality and expedite safe shipping of software.
• Advocate for AI-augmented engineering practices to enhance team productivity.

Education

• Relevant degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
