Director of Commercial Management

Job summary

This role involves leading the global Commercial Management function for a significant investment portfolio, focusing on enhancing commercial performance and governance across large-scale capital projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and developing multinational teams.
• Significant background in commercial management, cost management, or project controls for large-scale projects.
• Strong commercial acumen in cost estimating, forecasting, and portfolio performance management.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders within complex organizations.
• Understanding of the construction project lifecycle, including design and execution.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and tools like Microsoft Project and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel globally (approximately 30 days per year).

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing global Commercial Management team.
• Oversee commercial governance for the global factory expansion portfolio.
• Define and implement the commercial strategy and governance framework for capital projects.
• Direct cost estimating, forecasting, and performance management efforts.
• Drive improvements in commercial capabilities and digital tools.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on risks and investment priorities.
• Promote commercial excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Education
