Director HEOR and RWE

Job summary

The role involves leading the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) efforts within a Medical Affairs team, focusing on obesity and metabolic health. The position is strategic and global, influencing patient access and outcomes through evidence generation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in HEOR or RWE within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting sectors.
• Expertise in real-world evidence generation, including non-interventional studies and health outcomes research, preferably in obesity or cardiometabolic diseases.
• Experience with Health Technology Assessment (HTA) evaluations and the ability to interpret complex evidence for payer audiences.
• Proven track record of translating clinical and real-world data into value arguments and customer-facing tools.
• Strong publication record and experience in leading cross-functional projects globally.
• Master's degree or higher in life sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HEOR and RWE strategies for the product pipeline.
• Ensure evidence needs are met for payers, regulators, healthcare professionals, and patients throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee RWE studies, including vendor selection, protocol design, data analysis, and publication.
• Create evidence-based arguments and materials for global markets.
• Innovate HEOR/RWE methodologies and provide internal training.
• Build relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support evidence strategies.
