About the role

Job summary

The role involves leading the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives within a Medical Affairs team, focusing on obesity and metabolic health. The Director will drive evidence generation strategies and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to influence patient access and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HEOR or RWE within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or consulting sectors.
  • Expertise in real-world evidence generation, including non-interventional studies, health outcomes research, and economic analyses, preferably in obesity or cardiometabolic diseases.
  • Experience with Health Technology Assessment (HTA) evaluations and the ability to interpret complex evidence for payer audiences.
  • Proven track record of translating clinical and real-world data into value arguments and customer-facing materials.
  • Strong publication record and experience in leading cross-functional projects globally.
  • Master's degree or higher in life sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HEOR and RWE strategies for the pipeline, focusing on obesity and metabolic diseases.
  • Drive Integrated Evidence Planning to address the needs of payers, regulators, healthcare professionals, and patients.
  • Manage RWE studies and health outcomes research, including vendor selection and data analysis.
  • Create evidence-based payer arguments and HTA-ready materials for global markets.
  • Innovate HEOR/RWE methodologies and provide internal training.
  • Build relationships with external research partners and key opinion leaders to support evidence strategy.

Education
