Director HEOR and RWE

Job summary

The role involves leading the Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives within a Medical Affairs team, focusing on obesity and metabolic health. The position is strategic and global, influencing patient access and outcomes through evidence generation.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in HEOR or RWE within pharma, biotech, or consultancy.
• Expertise in real-world evidence generation, including non-interventional studies and health outcomes research, preferably in obesity or cardiometabolic diseases.
• Experience with Health Technology Assessment (HTA) evaluations and interpreting evidence for payer audiences.
• Proven ability to create evidence-based value arguments and customer-facing tools.
• Track record of peer-reviewed publications and leadership in cross-functional projects.
• Master's degree or higher in life sciences, epidemiology, health economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HEOR and RWE strategies for the pipeline focused on obesity and metabolic diseases.
• Drive Integrated Evidence Planning to meet the needs of payers, regulators, healthcare professionals, and patients.
• Manage RWE studies and health outcomes research, including vendor selection and data analysis.
• Translate clinical and real-world data into payer arguments and HTA-ready materials.
• Innovate HEOR/RWE methodologies and provide internal training.
• Build relationships with external research partners and stakeholders.
