Job summary

The role involves working as a development engineer focused on aeroacoustics related to wind turbines, within a research and development group. The position includes conducting experimental and numerical methods for aeroacoustic testing, utilizing advanced computational tools and test facilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in experimental work and signal processing, with strong analytical skills.
  • Background in developing methods for aeroacoustic experiments, particularly for wind turbines.
  • Knowledge of microphone array measurement techniques for wind tunnel tests.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in English for communication, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting tests and analyzing experimental data for wind tunnel and wind turbine blades.
  • Operating the Poul la Cour Tunnel, Denmark's largest wind tunnel.
  • Validating and enhancing aeroacoustic measurement techniques.
  • Performing field tests on wind turbines for aeroacoustic characterization to improve design tools.
  • Collaborating on nationally and internationally funded projects with leading wind turbine manufacturers.

Education

  • Relevant educational background in engineering or a related field is preferred.

Tools

  • Familiarity with advanced measurement instruments and techniques for aeroacoustic testing.
