Design Engineer

Job summary

A design engineer is needed in the Engineering & Automation department, focusing on adapting 3D component templates to meet customer specifications and creating detailed workshop drawings for manufacturing. The role involves close collaboration with project management and workshops to ensure efficient production and installation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Background in machine engineering, technical design, or a related field
• Proficient in Inventor (3D) and AutoCad Mechanical (2D)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments
• Full professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Danish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Adaptation of spray drying components through 3D modeling and creation of manufacturing drawings
• Standardization and optimization of components
• Preparation of procurement and delivery documentation
• Development of technical manuals and risk assessments
• Conduct inspections of components at workshops
• Maintain dialogue with business units and workshops for project follow-up
• Provide site support during installation
• Assist with supply chain and after-sales support
