Deployment Engineer

Job summary

The role involves scaling deployments of technology solutions across healthcare facilities, requiring a physical presence in Copenhagen, Denmark. The position focuses on addressing technical deployment challenges, collaborating with customer IT teams, and enhancing deployment processes through automation and tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in production-quality code
• Proficient in Linux environments and command line debugging
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi)
• Experience with databases and SQL queries
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Service-oriented mindset with a desire to assist others
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Curious and pragmatic, willing to work across various software stack components

Responsibilities

• Support Customer Success and Deployment teams during rollouts and technical issues
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to integrate solutions into existing infrastructure
• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and connectivity issues
• Build internal tools and automation to streamline deployments
• Develop tooling for configuring and troubleshooting Linux-based edge devices
• Improve deployment workflows and operational processes
• Identify and resolve recurring deployment challenges
• Travel to customer sites for complex deployments as needed
• Work with engineers across the company to enhance the deployment platform

Skills

• Experience with IoT or edge devices is a plus
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure is advantageous
• Previous experience in healthcare or complex operational environments is beneficial

Education

• Relevant degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
