In Global Marketing, we set the direction for creative development across three world‑leading hearing aid brands: Oticon, Bernafon, and Philips Hearing Solutions. As Director, Creative Development, you will play a pivotal role in our go‑to‑market (G2M) process – ensuring that clear strategies and briefs are turned into impactful, on‑brand campaigns across channels and markets worldwide.

You will lead a highly experienced in‑house creative function at the heart of Demant’s global marketing agenda. Your leadership will directly affect how millions of people experience our brands – and ultimately how we support our purpose of making life easier for people with hearing loss.

 

Your team & your impact

You will lead a close‑knit and highly capable team of 15 senior specialists within Global Marketing (including five new colleagues joining from May). The team covers creative production management, art direction, copywriting, digital design, and more.

 

They know each other very well – almost like a small family. They are highly experienced and self‑driven, highly team‑oriented, lifting each other up and used to taking ownership and responsibility.

 

What they need from you is clarity, foresight, and space – a leader who sets direction, removes obstacles, and creates the conditions for creativity to flourish.

Your key responsibilities

  • People & leadership: Lead, develop, and inspire a team of primarily senior specialists. Build engagement, psychological safety, well‑being, and good team spirit.
  • Creative & campaign leadership: Act as a senior sparring partner, helping translate business strategy and creative briefs into high‑quality campaign execution. Play a leading role in the G2M process and contribute to the leadership of the Marketing Content Studio.
  • Execution & prioritization: Manage resource allocation across brands and initiatives. Balance demand, capacity, quality, and strategic priorities in a complex brand portfolio.
  • Collaboration: Ensure seamless collaboration across Global Marketing and the wider value chain. Secure good alignment while balancing creative goals with timelines, processes, and resources.
  • Future‑ready ways of working: Cultivate a creative culture where AI and new technologies are used strategically to increase creative quality, efficiency, and speed‑to‑market. Encourage the team to keep progressing and set the standard in creative development.

What we’re looking for

You:

  • Have demonstrated experience leading senior creative specialists within an in-house creative team at a large organization.
  • Are an effective people leader who sets direction, prioritizes clearly, and enables others to thrive.
  • Excel at stakeholder management across functions and seniority levels.
  • Understand brand building, campaign development, G2M processes, and digital ecosystems in a global marketing setup.
  • Demonstrate skill in storytelling, brand consistency, and audience‑centric experiences.
  • Are curious, future‑oriented, and energized by trends, emerging technologies, and new ways of working.
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Are ready to work on‑site from day one at our headquarters in Smørum.
