Job summary

The role involves safeguarding data integrity within a specific domain as part of a new Enterprise Data Platform initiative. The position focuses on enhancing data quality and enforcing governance policies while collaborating with various stakeholders across business and IT functions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in information management or equivalent
• 3-4 years of experience in data management or data product stewardship
• Understanding of data architecture, governance, and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies, data platforms, analytics tools, and cloud technologies
• Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Define, monitor, and enforce data quality rules, thresholds, and metrics
• Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and ensure transparency for data health
• Document and manage data lineage, catalogues, and glossaries within the domain
• Support the standardization of data models to reflect business semantics and data ownership
• Identify data quality risks and propose preventive measures
• Validate and enrich data during onboarding and integration activities
• Act as the primary point of contact for data-related queries and change requests

• Ability to build long-term business relationships with stakeholders
• Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills
