Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in an engineering discipline such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, or Robotics.
  • Familiarity with fundamental concepts of machine learning and MLOps tools.
  • Experience in defining and collecting datasets for AI/ML model training.
  • Proficient in software engineering and programming with C++ and Python.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop AI and computer vision technologies to enhance the efficiency and safety of surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to define and gather datasets for development, testing, and training of AI/ML models.
  • Build and deploy tools for training pipelines, including visualizing, debugging, and evaluating image data and associated metrics.
  • Work in an agile environment, partnering with other teams to advance medical visualization technologies.

  • Analytical reasoning, artificial intelligence, cognitive computing, data gathering and analysis, data modeling, detail-oriented execution focus, machine learning, natural language processing, persistence, project management, and scientific research.

Education

  • A Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 frameworks, PyTorch, Weights and Biases, TensorRT, Git source control, and software testing/continuous integration/DevOps practices.
