Data Scientist (Applied AI, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves leveraging large datasets to develop, deploy, and maintain AI/ML models aimed at enhancing go-to-market efficiency and pricing strategies. The position is a fixed-term contract for 12 months and requires collaboration with various teams to drive business goals through data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models to improve commercial practices.
• Strong technical background with hands-on skills in data preparation, exploration, and modeling.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly GCP or AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Data Science projects focused on improving GTM efficiency and pricing practices, including prediction, ranking, segmentation, and recommendation systems.
• Own, maintain, and deploy production-ready ML/AI models while analyzing data to assess impact.
• Identify new pricing and monetization opportunities based on data insights.
• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into Data Science deliverables.

Skills

• Experience with advanced statistical techniques and machine learning methods, including pricing optimization and customer lifetime value analysis.
• Ability to work with large datasets and knowledge of e-commerce data analytics.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Education

• Proven technical experience in a Data Science role, preferably in the technology sector or consultancy.

Tools

• Familiarity with Google Vertex AI tools, Google BigQuery, BigQuery Pipelines, and Airflow for data engineering and model deployment.
