Cybersecurity Engineer (Healthcare, Hybrid, Sweden)

Job summary

This role involves working within a cybersecurity function focused on anticipating, assessing, and responding to cyber threats, while ensuring the evolution of technical security controls in line with business needs and the threat landscape.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Strong background in cybersecurity engineering or security architecture
• Ability to translate technical cyber threats and risks into actionable security requirements
• Experience collaborating with IT engineering and architecture teams
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance expectations related to technical security controls

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and emerging cyber threats and assess their impact on the technical environment
• Define, maintain, and evolve cybersecurity architecture principles and secure design patterns
• Perform security design reviews and support secure onboarding of new systems and technologies
• Assess and validate the effectiveness of technical security controls, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities
• Provide input for audits, regulatory compliance, and third-party risk assessments
• Support the organization in improving cybersecurity maturity
