About the role

Job summary

We are seeking a Chemical Vapor Deposition Equipment and Process Engineer to support the manufacturing of quantum processors in Copenhagen. This role involves operating and maintaining CVD tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability in a cutting-edge quantum computing environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
  • Documented experience in the semiconductor industry or research laboratories, particularly with CVD operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain RP CVD tools to ensure high uptime and reproducibility.
  • Monitor tool and process health, correlating results with characterization to enhance material quality.
  • Lead the growth of Silicon Germanium heterostructures using RP-CVD processes.
  • Ensure safety compliance while operating the CVD system.
  • Train new users on the CVD system and facilitate collaboration with process and tool development teams.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical skills and technical comprehension.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and documentation.

Education

  • Relevant degree in engineering or a related field.

Tools

  • Experience with SECS communication for tool data collection and review.
