CPE Specialist (Telecommunications, Århus/Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves working with Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) within a telecommunications network team. You will be responsible for defining network strategies, driving technical designs, and ensuring effective execution of network solutions. The position requires collaboration with a team of engineers to create scalable and secure network architectures.

Qualifications

• Understanding of routing protocols and redundant setups.
• Experience with test management and CPE/service validation.
• Knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies and sync or optical transport network tasks.
• Preferably CCNP certification or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead CPE testing, focusing on Quality of Service (QoS), forwarding, and tailored solutions for customers.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, including decommissioning and replacements.
• Develop and implement technical service solutions in partnership with vendors.
• Define OSS stack requirements and ensure accurate network configuration templates for auto-provisioning.
• Provide troubleshooting support and error reporting to ensure effective vendor collaboration.
• Stay updated on security standards and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Educate stakeholders and create documentation for new features.

Skills

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Danish is a plus.

Education

• Ability to obtain a Danish Security Clearance.

Tools

• Experience with OSS systems and network configuration tools.
