Corporate Security Engineer

Job summary

In this role, you will be responsible for securing the corporate technology foundation of a global SaaS company focused on AI-powered document generation and business content solutions. You will design and operate security controls across various domains including identity, endpoints, data protection, and SaaS governance, while collaborating with IT, Security, Legal, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of professional experience in corporate security engineering or a related IT and security role.
• Proven experience managing at least one security domain (identity, endpoint, network, or data protection) from design to ongoing operation.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise identity providers, including Conditional Access, privileged access controls, SSO, and MFA.
• Familiarity with data loss prevention, network segmentation, or egress filtering.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Ability to communicate security decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate identity and access security controls, including JIT/PAM and SSO enforcement.
• Implement and manage endpoint security using the Microsoft 365 Defender suite and oversee patching across various operating systems.
• Manage data protection measures and configure backup solutions for corporate data.
• Deploy and maintain network and email security measures, including firewalls and anti-phishing controls.
• Govern shadow IT and unsanctioned SaaS usage while supporting application lifecycle management.
• Automate IT and security operations, enhancing workflows through scripting.
• Collaborate with IT on security-related decisions and provide technical input on vendor assessments.
• Support incident investigations in coordination with the Senior Information Security Analyst.

Skills

• Strong judgment in assessing risk and making technical decisions.
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience in a technology-led or complex environment, preferably in B2B SaaS.

Education

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are preferred.

Tools

• Experience with security frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF is beneficial. Familiarity with SaaS backup solutions is also a plus.
