About the role

Job summary

This role involves working as a Consultant in the Real World Solutions team, focusing on providing insights and advice to healthcare and life sciences stakeholders in the Nordic region. The Consultant will engage in various projects, collaborating with hospitals and other stakeholders to leverage Real World Data and Evidence.

Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent in pharmacology, bio-medicine, epidemiology, or a related scientific field.
  • Approximately 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficient in basic statistics including mean, median, percentiles, p-values, confidence intervals, and survival analysis.
  • Proven project management abilities and a desire to expand experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and at least one Nordic language, with residency in the Nordics.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to structure information logically.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across Nordic countries and global centers of excellence.
  • Adaptable with a quick learning ability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research for diverse projects.
  • Liaise with potential sites and stakeholders for project setup, including contracts and confidentiality agreements.
  • Manage small-sized client engagements as a project manager.
  • Write and review data access applications to Nordic health data authorities.
  • Conduct interviews with clinical experts and patients.
  • Create structured, client-facing deliverables and communicate insights effectively.
  • Stay informed about the national health data landscape.
  • Contribute to proposal development as needed.

Skills

  • Experience with Nordic registry data and data access applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with statistical programming in secondary database studies is advantageous.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in the Nordics or equivalent is beneficial.
  • High digital proficiency and skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) are preferred.
  • Experience in oncology and/or neurology is a plus.

Education

  • PhD or equivalent in a relevant scientific discipline.
