Computer Vision Engineer

Job summary

This role involves combining theoretical computer vision with hardware integration and software development to create high-precision tracking systems for sports applications. The position is part of a multidisciplinary R&D team focused on developing and maintaining advanced tracking technology for elite athletes.

Qualifications

• Recent MSc/PhD graduate or early-career engineer with 0–3 years of experience in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with computer vision, sensors, and image processing.
• Strong interest in camera sensors, calibration, 3D geometry, feature tracking, or image-processing pipelines.
• Proficient in C++ and/or Python with a focus on writing efficient, structured, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate next-generation camera sensors and diagnose hardware/software interface issues.
• Develop and optimize real-time 2D/3D vision tracking and calibration algorithms.
• Write clean, testable code and maintain existing production codebases for stability and uptime.
• Analyze real-world datasets to identify tracking vulnerabilities and improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and QA teams to create reliable software solutions.
