Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Commercial Merchandising or Expansion roles.
  • Formal education in a quantitative field such as Business or Finance is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop business cases and calculate ROI.
  • Proficient in connecting commercial analysis with store layout and setup.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of Expansion and Commercial Merchandising workflows.
  • Familiarity with supply chain complexities and physical store operations.
  • General knowledge of the existing store portfolio in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the assortment mix and size based on sales performance and demand analysis.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of sales trends and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams on stock adjustments in response to store performance changes.
  • Define the commercial business case and ideal store capacity for new projects and portfolio optimizations.
  • Ensure seasonal interior tracking is conducted to inform future store capacity needs.
  • Execute allocation actions for store projects in alignment with planning and logistics.
  • Conduct on-site visits to ensure effective commercial execution and customer experience.
  • Share project performance insights and learnings with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support project execution and provide data-driven feedback on store layouts.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across functions.
  • Proficient in data analysis and commercial strategy development.

Education

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or a related quantitative field is preferred.

Tools
