Cloud Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

This role involves contributing to the development of cloud capabilities within a collaborative team focused on modernizing IT infrastructure and application landscapes. The position emphasizes building reliable, scalable systems and improving internal developer platforms while ensuring cloud security best practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers (Docker/Podman), and microservice architectures.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and observability tooling.
• Exposure to messaging systems like Kafka and relational databases.
• Frontend technologies like React are a plus but not essential.
• AI-assisted engineering experience with tools like GitHub Copilot is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Apply industry concepts using diverse tooling.
• Write infrastructure as code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Develop tooling in Python or GoLang.
• Support CI/CD automation and GitOps workflows.
• Contribute to the containerization and modernization of applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and other teams to ensure cloud adoption.
