Job summary

This role involves managing carbon projects within a program focused on natural climate solutions. The Carbon Project Manager will lead project teams through the design phase, ensuring effective delivery of project milestones and establishing sustainable business practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in project management, or 1 year leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of carbon projects, applying project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Define project scope, schedule, and budget, and collaboratively develop detailed project plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and facilitate resolutions to ensure milestones are met.
  • Manage relationships with regional partners and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Prepare tailored reports and updates for various stakeholders, documenting key decisions and action points.
  • Ensure compliance with programmatic commitments, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate programming for Business Incubator cohorts, enhancing participant experience and fostering learning.
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of the Business Incubator program, including curriculum development and data management.

Skills

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in data management and tracking tools.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with project management software and data management tools.
