Building Services Manager (Denmark)

Job summary

The Building Services Manager is tasked with overseeing the effective and safe delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems across various projects. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and leadership to ensure MEP systems are integrated and compliant with design and sustainability standards. The manager will also focus on team development and the application of management systems to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).
• Membership in a relevant professional institution (e.g., CIBSE, CIOB).
• Health & Safety management training (e.g., IOSH).
• Experience in project planning and management.
• Specialist training in live energies or arc flash is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide teams in implementing building services management systems.
• Align the Building Services strategy with business objectives in safety, quality, and sustainability.
• Oversee MEP project delivery from pre-construction to handover.
• Manage tendering and procurement processes for MEP packages.
• Ensure safe management of temporary electrical requirements and energy assessments.
• Coordinate MEP works within the overall project timeline.
• Engage with utility providers and stakeholders for project interfaces.
• Review and approve coordinated drawings and builder’s work requirements.
• Implement tracking processes for equipment and plant.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and safety regulations.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of learning.
