Job summary

The BD&L Operations Lead is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Business Development & Licensing function by implementing strong processes, systems, and data-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and performance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in business operations, consulting, or BD&L support, particularly in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
• Demonstrated track record in process optimization and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Drive and optimize BD&L processes, tools, and systems for efficient execution.
• Translate strategic goals into operational plans, KPIs, and actionable insights for decision-making.
• Manage governance, reporting, and data foundations, including pipeline tracking and dashboards.
• Lead planning and budget follow-up, enhancing coordination across BD&L and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and spearhead initiatives to boost collaboration and performance.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating across various functions and levels of seniority.
• Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Tools

• Experience with performance tracking systems and CRM implementations.
