About the role

Job summary

The role involves supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an AutoStore system and warehouse automation equipment in a highly automated environment.

Qualifications

  • Technical education in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in warehouse automation, production equipment, robotics, or material handling systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
  • Structured and analytical problem-solving approach.
  • Proficient communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the AutoStore system, including robots, ports, grid, bins, and charging stations.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and technical inspections.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, automation, and software-related issues.
  • Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Support system performance optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Operations, IT, Engineering, and external service partners.
  • Assist in testing and implementing system upgrades and new equipment.
  • Train warehouse users on best practices and basic troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Skills

  • Experience with AutoStore, conveyor systems, WMS/WCS platforms, robotics, or automated warehouse solutions is advantageous.

Education

  • Technical education in relevant fields is required.

Tools

  • Familiarity with automation and robotics tools and systems is beneficial.
