Job summary

The Chef is responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring the quality and efficiency of food preparation, and overseeing stock management. This role involves working independently with minimal assistance and requires adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

  • Permanent residence in EU/EEA/Switzerland
  • MBO Level-3 in Hospitality

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and prepare dishes according to regulations (HACCP, safety, etc.) and work instructions (recipes).
  • Manage stock and order supplies, ensuring timely orders and proper storage following FIFO principles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in accordance with safety regulations.
  • Propose improvements for kitchen processes and accountability of consumption.

Skills

  • Ability to work under pressure during peak times.
  • Strong organizational skills for stock management and kitchen efficiency.
  • Knowledge of safety practices in a kitchen environment.

Education

  • MBO Level-3 in Hospitality or equivalent.

Tools

  • Kitchen equipment and tools, including knives and cooking appliances.
