Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent background
  • Established experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Training in obesity preferred, with strong therapeutic-area experience in obesity/metabolic health
  • Proven experience in Medical Affairs and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in developing medical plans for product approval and launch
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong analytical capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Support the medical strategy and execution for the obesity portfolio, contributing to medical plans for product approval and launch
  • Collaborate with R&D and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables
  • Monitor medical developments in obesity and disseminate relevant updates
  • Liaise with medical/scientific stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs)
  • Engage with professional societies and patient organizations for insights
  • Facilitate grants and investigator-initiated trial requests and represent the organization at scientific forums
