The role of Associate Medical Director in Medical Projects focuses on supporting the obesity portfolio through medical leadership and scientific collaboration. This position involves translating external medical developments into internal guidance and fostering compliant engagement with the medical community.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent background
• Established experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Preferred training in obesity or significant experience in obesity/metabolic health
• Proven track record in Medical Affairs with cross-functional collaboration
• Experience in developing medical plans for product approval and launch

Responsibilities

• Support medical strategy and execution for the obesity portfolio, contributing to medical plans for product approval and launch
• Collaborate with R&D and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables
• Monitor and analyze medical developments in obesity, sharing key insights with the organization
• Build relationships with internal and external medical stakeholders, including key opinion leaders (KOLs)
• Engage with professional societies and patient organizations to enhance understanding and insights
• Manage incoming grants and investigator-initiated trial requests, representing the organization at scientific forums
