Job summary

The role involves supporting the obesity portfolio through medical leadership and scientific insight, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and translating external medical developments into actionable internal guidance. Responsibilities include contributing to medical strategies for product approval and launch, monitoring scientific advancements, and engaging with medical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent background
• Established experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Preferred training in obesity or significant experience in obesity/metabolic health
• Proven track record in Medical Affairs with cross-functional collaboration experience
• Experience in developing medical plans for product approval and launch
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly

Responsibilities

• Support medical strategy and execution for the obesity portfolio
• Collaborate with R&D and internal stakeholders to align priorities
• Monitor and disseminate updates on medical developments in obesity
• Build relationships with medical/scientific stakeholders and KOLs
• Engage with professional societies and patient organizations
• Facilitate grant and IIT requests and represent the organization at scientific forums
