Job summary

This is a permanent position focused on delivering innovative engineering projects over the next five years. The role involves working within a dynamic, multi-functional team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical safety systems and procedures.
• Familiarity with project specifications and drawings.
• Ability to manage safety documents and adhere to electrical safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Site Authorized Person (SAP) on Electrical Safe Systems of Work.
• Conduct structured mentoring and workshops with testing and commissioning technicians.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety systems among all personnel.
• Issue and control permits for energized working activities.
• Attend daily testing and commissioning meetings.
• Review project specifications and extract specific requirements.
• Manage safety documents and lock out/tag out procedures.
• Support and liaise with testing and commissioning contractors.
• Witness and coordinate tests, ensuring documentation is complete.

Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical protection under fault conditions.
• Proficient in managing testing equipment and ensuring calibration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education

• Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field are preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with Scada/BMS/EMS systems and electrical testing equipment.
