Application Management Manager (ERP, Remote)

Job summary

This role involves overseeing the operations and continuous improvement of the Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) platform within a global organization. The Application Management Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure application performance and compliance while providing expert support to users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent education.
• Microsoft Dynamics AX certification preferred.
• Proven experience in ERP application management, particularly with Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
• Strong technical understanding of application operations and data integrations.
• Experience in incident, problem, and release management processes.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to motivate team members and manage conflicts effectively.
• Capable of working independently in a global, hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable and compliant operation of Dynamics AX and related integrations.
• Serve as the primary contact for business stakeholders regarding Axapta functionality.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem resolutions in collaboration with IT partners.
• Drive application lifecycle management, including upgrades and end-of-life planning.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security, and GDPR requirements.
• Support system audits and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams and vendors on new developments and enhancements.
• Facilitate user support, training, and technical coaching.
• Monitor service costs and performance to ensure value for money.
• Provide input to IT roadmaps and architecture discussions.
• Manage and coordinate team members' tasks and roles.
