Alliance Manager (MedTech, Onsite, Denmark)

Job summary

The role of Alliance Manager focuses on enhancing external innovation and partnership activities within a global MedTech environment. This position is crucial for assessing and maturing promising external ideas and technologies to integrate them into the R&D pipeline, particularly in Ostomy Care, Continence Care, and Bowel Care.

Qualifications

• Strong scientific or technical background with experience in industrial or corporate R&D settings (e.g., MedTech, Life Sciences).
• Proven experience collaborating with universities, Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs), or public-private research environments.
• Understanding of early-stage technology maturation and commercialization pathways.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and align scientific ambitions with organizational priorities.
• Familiarity with MedTech or life sciences regulatory environments (FDA/EU MDR) is a plus.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is required; knowledge of Danish is not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic relationships with universities, TTOs, and research organizations.
• Identify, assess, and mature collaboration opportunities from academic research and early innovation.
• Support technology transfer processes, including invention disclosures and alignment on development pathways.
• Structure and manage research collaborations, ensuring clarity on scope, governance, and mutual value creation.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to evaluate scientific merit and strategic fit of external opportunities.
• Represent the organization at conferences, university events, and innovation forums.

Education
