AI Research Engineer (Denmark)

Job summary

This role focuses on advancing post-training techniques for agentic AI systems, contributing to the development of large language models that can reason, plan, and execute tasks. The position involves both research and engineering, impacting production-grade AI systems used in real-world applications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred.
• Strong background in large language models and experience with post-training techniques such as fine-tuning and reinforcement learning.
• Hands-on experience with distributed training systems and large-scale model development.
• Expertise in improving model reasoning, tool use, and function calling.
• Experience with multimodal data and building data pipelines for AI training.
• Research contributions, ideally with publications at top-tier AI conferences.
• Open-source contributions related to AI agents or LLM systems are valued.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and engineering to advance post-training methods for agentic AI systems.
• Improve model capabilities including factuality and multi-agent coordination.
• Design and optimize large-scale post-training pipelines and evaluation frameworks.
• Develop benchmarking systems to assess model performance and readiness for deployment.
• Integrate real-world feedback into training loops to enhance model behavior.
• Collaborate with research and engineering teams for scalable integration of capabilities.
• Identify and propose solutions to improve system efficiency and performance.
