AI Research Engineer - Reinforcement Learning (Denmark)

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field; PhD preferred.
• Strong research background in reinforcement learning, machine learning, or AI disciplines with notable contributions to AI research.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale reinforcement learning experiments, including online methods like Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO).
• Deep understanding of reinforcement learning concepts such as policy gradients and exploration-exploitation tradeoffs.
• Expertise in PyTorch and reinforcement learning frameworks, with experience in building end-to-end RL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced reinforcement learning algorithms for decision-making in various environments.
• Execute and evaluate large-scale reinforcement learning experiments, tracking performance indicators.
• Develop simulation environments and training datasets for specific reinforcement learning challenges.
• Optimize RL pipelines by addressing issues related to exploration strategies and computational efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate RL agents into production systems.
• Define success metrics and monitor deployed RL systems for performance improvements.
• Contribute to AI research by exploring new RL methodologies and documenting findings.
