AI Product Manager (Healthcare, Remote/Europe)

Job summary

The role involves managing AI applications within Health Information Systems, focusing on Electronic Medical Records and Patient Administration Systems. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance healthcare delivery through AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of product management experience in a healthcare environment, particularly with EMR and/or PAS systems.
• Practical experience with AI technologies in clinical or operational settings.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across different geographies.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and clinical audiences.
• Native English speaker or C1/C2 English certification.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the global AI product roadmap for Health Information Systems.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration.
• Engage with healthcare customers to identify workflows and opportunities for AI improvements.
• Develop business cases for products, including scope, cost, and ROI analysis.
• Lead a development team using agile methodologies to translate requirements into products.
• Evaluate third-party AI solutions and integration partners for the HIS space.
• Establish success metrics and KPIs for AI features in EMR and PAS.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Communicate updates and risks to stakeholders.

Skills

• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in healthcare.
• Experience with agile product development methodologies.
• Familiarity with global healthcare regulatory frameworks related to AI software.

Education

• Relevant degree in a technical or healthcare-related field.
