AI Product Manager (Healthcare, Remote)

Job summary

The role involves leading the development of AI-enabled Clinical Data products focused on multi-modal clinical and genomic data to enhance precision medicine workflows in healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Translational Medicine Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of product management experience in a healthcare environment with exposure to clinical and genomic data.
• Understanding of genomics and clinical data standards (e.g., OMOP, FHIR).
• Experience applying AI/ML to biomedical or clinical data.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging clinical and scientific experts.
• Native English speaker or C1/C2 English certification.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for AI applications in precision medicine.
• Support the Lead PM in maintaining the global AI product roadmap.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI products from ideation to launch.
• Engage with healthcare customers to identify workflows and opportunities for AI improvements.
• Create business cases for products, including scope, cost, and ROI.
• Lead a development team using agile methodologies.
• Evaluate third-party data platforms and AI vendors.
• Define clinical validation frameworks and success metrics for AI applications.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.

Skills

• Strong ability to translate research concepts into product reality.
• Familiarity with iterative, data-driven development practices.
• Knowledge of precision oncology, rare disease diagnostics, or pharmacogenomics is a plus.
• Familiarity with federated data architectures and synthetic data for clinical AI development.

Education

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field is required.

• Experience with AI/ML tools and platforms relevant to healthcare data integration.
