Job summary

The Manufacturing Manager in Solution Preparation is responsible for overseeing a key production area, ensuring efficient and compliant manufacturing performance. This role involves connecting shift-based operations with business priorities and leading a team of Shift Supervisors to maintain safety, quality, and delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in biologics API or GMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Upstream, Downstream, or Solution Preparation processes.
• Familiarity with GMP, quality systems, and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Shift Supervisors, ensuring effective first-line leadership.
• Monitor and improve production output, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure production readiness.
• Handle deviation management, investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Represent the production area during audits, inspections, and client visits.
