Bunker Solutions at ZeroNorth

The Bunker Solutions Expert at ZeroNorth role combines strategic sales leadership with deep technical expertise to drive commercial growth and product adoption. The position focuses on understanding the existing bunker planning, pricing, and procurement platform, and using industry insights along with personal experience to effectively present the platform during sales meetings and connect with potential clients.

The role also involves developing a strong understanding of bunker markets, workflows, and procurement scenarios, along with familiarity with data sets, product development, and product life cycles. It is ideal for individuals who are passionate about maritime technology and using data-driven insights to improve the industry. The individual in this role should also be open to extensive travel.


Key responsibilities:

  • Offer guidance & training to customers in using the platform

  • Work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders to provide iterative improvements

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within large, strategic accounts through effective networking.

  • Support sales processes by acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), bringing deep, product-specific expertise and conducting technical demonstrations during the pre-sales cycle.

  • Develop and maintain product-specific playbooks on "how to sell," including articulated value propositions, case studies showing Value/ROI, and strategies to counter customer objections.

  • keep an oversight of competitive market solutions and developments and share insights with sales team members, CSMs, and also Product Managers

  • Ensure accurate, evidence-based pipeline management and forecasting, and conduct in-depth root cause analysis on wins and losses to share insights across teams linked to the subject matter

  • Answer complex technical questions and help prospects understand the technical feasibility and integration aspects of ZeroNorth's solutions.

  • Provide professional post-sale support to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and referenceability.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting processes, sharing customer feedback for product development, and staying informed about industry trends.

Your profile:

  • Bunker desk and trader experience - Not mandatory but beneficial

  • Understanding and experience in marine operations will be a plus

  • Good analytical skills in interpreting data

  • Thrives in a fast paced environment

  • Good soft skills to enhance customer engagement

  • Passionate and self motivated
