(Senior) Regulatory Intelligence Specialist

Your new position
We are expanding our Regulatory Affairs team due to the growth of the Zealand Pharma organization and the many activities in our exciting development projects.

As a (Senior) Regulatory Intelligence Specialist, you will play a critical role in monitoring the regulatory landscape and providing regulatory analysis and strategy on key areas relevant for our development projects. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the regulatory affairs function and other areas in Zealand Pharma to ensure regulatory intelligence supports the needs of the business.

We offer exciting responsibilities:

• Monitor global regulatory landscapes, including legislation, guidance documents, and agency activities
• Analyze and summarize regulatory trends, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain regulatory intelligence databases and dashboards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Quality, Legal and others) to inform decision-making
• Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory working groups
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior leadership

Your profile
A structured, curious, and collaborative specialist who enjoys turning regulatory signals into clear, practical guidance. Thrives in a dynamic environment, builds strong relationships across functions, and is comfortable balancing depth of analysis with timely delivery. Open-minded, engaged, and willing to support colleagues and continuous improvement.

• Master’s degree in Life Science, Health Science, or a related field
• Several years of regulatory experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry or a Health Authority
• Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, EMA, ICH)
• Experience with regulatory intelligence tools and databases
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Your new team
You will join the expanding Regulatory Affairs function at Zealand Pharma, working closely with colleagues across the development value chain. The team collaborates with R&D, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Quality, Legal, and other stakeholders to ensure regulatory insights are timely, relevant, and integrated into project strategies. You will also contribute to process improvements within Regulatory Affairs and across the organization.
