Trades Assistant

THE ROLE

• Assist Tradespersons with basic tasks
• Support the Planning team by preparing and staging jobs (including organising tubs for each machine)
• Work within the caged/staging area to help planners set up upcoming work
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Operate site vehicles and buses as required
• Carry out ad hoc labouring duties as directed
• Some driving as part of daily tasks
• Work with Sandvik equipment

WHAT YOU NEED

• Current WA “C” Class manual driver’s licence
• Forklift Licence
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively with Tradespersons and Planners
• Comfortable using basic tools and equipment
• Strong safety focus
• Overhead crane ticket (advantageous)
• No trade qualification required
