Finance Administrative Assistant

In this role, your strong attention to detail and ability to independently drive financial processes will be key to your success and highly valued by the team.

What will your day look like?

As our new Finance Business Associate, you'll become a key player in the day-to-day financial operations of our global business. You will be given responsibility from day one and will have the opportunity to build a solid understanding of financial processes. You will maintain a close relationship with various departments for invoice approvals, acting as their go-to person for any challenges that need solving 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Controlling and managing employee expenses, ensuring correct documentation, policy compliance, and accurate posting in our finance systems
• Monitoring and validating employee time registrations in collaboration with project leads and department managers to ensure timely and accurate input for monthly reporting
• Taking ownership of internal reporting deadlines, particularly in connection with month-end and year-end closings
• Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice handling, reconciliations, and follow-ups with internal stakeholders
• Identifying process improvements in your daily work and participating in optimization initiatives
• Providing ad hoc financial support to the broader Finance team, including assistance with internal audits, reporting, and budgeting tasks 

Who are you going to work with?

As part of the Finance & Legal department, you will have 23 talented colleagues who are passionate about what they do. Internally, you will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate closely with other members of the finance team. Externally, you will interact regularly with various departments for invoice approvals and queries, and coordinate with external vendors and suppliers.

You are flexible and well-organized, with a talent for maintaining a clear overview of your daily tasks, ensuring proper prioritization and meeting deadlines. Additionally, you are a strong communicator, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

In addition, you have: 

• 0-2+ years of experience from an administrative position - maybe from an internship, student job, or a similar role  
• Experience with Excel and a general interest in working with financial systems and data
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
