By harnessing the power of technology and social behaviour, we have created a personalization-powered, community-driven e-commerce platform with more than 75 million community members. We aim to drive projects that increase purchases or desired user actions through email/push campaigns, and to re-engage inactive users through targeted, value-based communications.
Bridge the gap between our marketing strategy and technical execution
As our Technical CRM Manager, you won't just be executing campaigns; you will be the lead architect of the Braze ecosystem at Vivino. You will sit at the intersection of marketing creativity and technical precision, ensuring our global community of wine lovers receives the right message at the perfect moment. Your mission is to build a scalable, high-performance CRM infrastructure that makes "complex" look "easy." In your first few months, success means you have delivered a brand-new set of templates for our commerce campaigns and begun automating our CRM setup. Some of the most important parameters for you are Click Rates, Unsubscribe Rates, and a measurable boost in CRM-driven revenue.
Furthermore, here is a description of your tasks and responsibilities:
Design, code, and maintain a robust library of reusable content blocks using HTML, CSS, and Liquid. You will ensure our communications are responsive, beautiful, and perform flawlessly across every device and email client
Implement sophisticated Liquid logic and Connected Content (APIs) to pull real-time external data into our messages. You'll turn static emails into dynamic, highly personalized experiences
Create clear "how-to" technical documentation that enables our broader marketing team to build on-brand, complex campaigns with ease and autonomy
Stay ahead of the curve on new Braze features (like Content Cards or Catalyst). You will be the internal go-to for optimizing our platform configuration and driving maximum efficiency
Conduct rigorous testing using tools like Litmus or Email on Acid to squash rendering issues before they ever reach a user's inbox
The position is located in Copenhagen, and you will report directly to our CMO.
Handle the art of a marketing campaign while mastering the science of the underlying data architecture
While we prefer not to confine anyone to rigid categories, we believe you will thrive and succeed in this position if you can effectively demonstrate your experience or aptitude across the aspects outlined below.
We do know that we are asking for a unique hybrid: a technical specialist with the mindset of a builder and the heart of a communicator. You don't just "send emails"—you engineer experiences.
Our understanding of a profile that would thrive in such an environment is both imaginative and impactful - possessing the creative spark to envision new ways to engage our users and the drive to make those ideas a reality. While you are highly structured in your technical deployments and evaluative when it comes to data and code integrity, you remain flexible enough to pivot as our fast-paced commerce environment evolves. Above all, you are sociable and supportive; you enjoy bridging departmental gaps and take pride in empowering your colleagues through shared knowledge and clear documentation.
Furthermore, we would think you can demonstrate the following:
Extensive hands-on experience building complex Braze architectures, including sophisticated Canvases, Liquid logic, and the implementation of Connected Content
Deep expertise in HTML and CSS, specifically optimized for email. You understand the quirks of various email clients and can build responsive, bulletproof designs from scratch
Strong proficiency in Liquid (or similar templating languages) to build conditional content, dynamic loops, and highly personalized user journeys
You are comfortable working with APIs, JSON, and complex data structures to feed real-time personalization engines
A proven track record of translating dense, technical concepts into actionable, easy-to-follow guides for marketing and creative teams
