Qualifications

• Over 10 years of senior R&D leadership experience in research functions aligned with long-term business strategy.
• Expertise in life sciences, drug development, or scientific instruments industry.
• Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year research and technology strategies.
• Experience in technology scouting and managing external partnerships.
• Strong financial and operational skills, including budget development and resource allocation.
• Established scientific presence through publications or advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate research strategy aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Translate market trends and customer needs into strategic research roadmaps.
• Lead technology scouting and evaluate partnership opportunities.
• Build strategic partnerships with technology partners and research institutions.
• Oversee internal research programs and manage associated risks.
• Coordinate intellectual property strategy and innovation governance.

Education

Travel Required

• Ph.D. in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
