Join us in this pivotal leadership role at the heart of strategic decision-making across P&I.

As Senior Manager of PMO in Products & Innovation, you will shape how strategic priorities are translated into an integrated, value-driven portfolio and how investment, capacity, and execution decisions are made at enterprise level.

In this super interesting role, you will shape how data, tooling, and automation support portfolio decisions. Working with IT, you will translate strategic and governance needs into a PPM roadmap that enhances transparency, usability, and decision support.

This role carries significant influence across the organisation. It operates as a trusted partner to senior leadership, Finance, IT, and Product Category Teams, providing the structures, insights, and governance that enable informed choices in a complex and evolving portfolio landscape. The mandate is not only to run the portfolio, but to continuously elevate how portfolio decisions are made.

You will be based in Østbirk or Hørsholm, Denmark and some travel must be expected.

What we offer
Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Execution, You will set the direction for portfolio prioritisation and planning, defining a clear, robust framework that aligns strategic ambition with executional reality. Through well-designed governance and portfolio forums, you will enable senior leadership to navigate trade-offs, interdependencies, and risk with clarity and confidence.

A core element of the role is shaping the quality of executive dialogue. You will ensure that portfolio performance is visible, analytically sound, and decision-relevant, integrating progress, risk, resource utilisation, and value perspectives. In close partnership with Finance, you will influence how targets, KPIs, and performance follow-up are defined and applied across the portfolio.

This role also carries a strong organisational dimension. You will work closely with Product Category Teams to ensure alignment across functions and to strengthen portfolio discipline at scale, including follow-up on complex cross-functional and quality-related topics. You will own the evolution of PMO and PCT processes, standards, and ways of working, and play a central role in building portfolio management capability across the organisation.

What you will bring
An experienced senior leader with a strong track record in portfolio management, PMO leadership, or adjacent strategic roles, typically supported by more than 15 years of relevant experience. You bring the credibility to operate as a peer to senior executives and are comfortable influencing without formal authority.

You combine strategic perspective with analytical depth and executional discipline. You are adept at framing complex information in ways that enable high-quality decisions and constructive debate. You understand portfolio data and systems in depth, yet consistently operate with a holistic, long-term view of value creation.

You are motivated by roles where structure, insight, and judgement materially influence organisational outcomes, and you bring a growth-oriented mindset aligned with the VELUX mission and values.
