Senior FP&A Analyst

Meet your future team

You will join the Group Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, CAPEX and Admin‑controlling team, consisting of 8-10 skilled and ambitious colleagues. Together, the team drives performance management, financial planning, and strategic financial insights across the VELUX Group.

As part of Global Finance & GBS, a global organisation of approximately 300 finance professionals, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across functions and regions. You will play a key role in supporting Group‑level decision making through high‑quality analysis and structured financial insights, contributing to an organisation that values precision, teamwork and continuous improvement.

What we offer

In this position, you will work with complex financial data and support senior stakeholders across the organisation, gaining exposure to executive-level processes.  You will gain exposure to Group-level planning processes, contribute to the development of forecasting and performance tools, and further strengthen your FP&A and business partnering capabilities in an international environment.

You will take ownership of key analyses and gradually build responsibility towards becoming a trusted finance partner.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

• Support the Group’s budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes through structured financial modelling and analysis.
• Prepare high-quality financial analyses, variance explanations, and performance insights used by senior management.
• Collaborate with finance colleagues and business stakeholders to support performance management initiatives.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
• Develop financial models, business cases, and analytical insights supporting strategic initiatives and investment decisions.

What you will bring

You are an analytical and curious finance professional who enjoys working with complex data and transforming it into actionable insights. You thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment and are motivated by contributing to business decisions through structured and data-driven financial analysis.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience within FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or similar analytical finance roles.
• Bring strong analytical skills and experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Possess advanced Excel skills and are familiar with financial planning systems such as BPC, Anaplan or similar (BPC & Anaplan are a plus).
• Ideally bring experience with data visualization or analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL or similar, with an interest in automation and data-driven processes.
• Communicate clearly and can translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively across an international organisation.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity, dependability, and commitment to the VELUX values of quality, sustainability, and responsibility.
