What we offer
As our new Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing category strategies that strengthen our competitiveness and support our ambitious business goals.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and ensure that our supplier landscape is resilient, sustainable, and ready for the future.

This is a role for someone who enjoys both the analytical deep‑dives and the strategic decision-making — and who knows how to turn insights into real business value.

You will own and develop selected categories end‑to‑end. In practice, this means you will:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain strategic category plans
  • Analyze markets, trends, and cost drivers to identify long‑term opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Lead and execute strategic sourcing projects
  • Drive value creation through TCO optimization, risk management, sustainability, and innovation
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable category strategies

You will based at the LKR Innovation House in Østbirk (Denmark) and some travel can be expected.

What you will bring

The ideal candidate will have solid experience within category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement in a complex stakeholder landscape.

You will thrive here if you are structured, proactive, and comfortable influencing decisions at different levels of the organization.

Ideally, you bring:

  • Experience with the category plastic and chemicals
  • Strong analytical abilities and a commercial mindset within category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement
  • The confidence to challenge status quo and propose new ways forward
  • Solid stakeholder skills — you know how to collaborate, navigate, and communicate
  • A commitment to delivering value beyond cost: sustainability, innovation, and resilience
