Meet your future team

You will lead a dedicated team of four senior professionals who are responsible for defining and executing our global product portfolio planning and launch management processes. The team collaborates closely with the product category teams, local markets, global and regional marketing, and commercial stakeholders to ensure our overall portfolio is strongly rooted in customer and market insights, has a strong strategic fit and delivers financial impact. As leader, you will set the direction, lead and develop the team aligned with the strategy, and ensure alignment with organisational priorities.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

• Lead and develop a team of four senior professionals within portfolio planning and launch management.
• Drive the annual product portfolio planning cycle, engaging with markets and regional teams as well as product category teams to identify products for inclusion
• Secure portfolio oversight and continuously assess strategic fit and financial performance to ensure the cross-category portfolio supports overall growth objectives, balances investments versus impact and delivers on business cases.
• Work closely with the product category teams and sales to secure a robust pipeline across categories, markets and regions.
• Secure a market back approach to product portfolio planning and a portfolio rooted in customer insights and customer situations.
• Support the product category teams to deliver on activities and strategic projects that require deep strategy and insight capabilities
• Secure product launch excellence and product training. Oversee launch management processes and coordination of product launch packages in close collaboration with the responsible product category teams.
• Be the primary point of contact for marketing teams when it comes to ensuring seamless communication and execution across product categories (i.e. product catalogues).

What you will bring

You are an experienced leader with a strong strategic mindset and the ability to manage complex processes across multiple stakeholders. You combine marketing knowledge with solid business acumen, financial and analytical skills, and you have a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Have solid experience in product portfolio management, marketing strategy, or business development.
• Possess strong numerical and analytical skills with proven ability to evaluate business cases and revenue drivers.
• Bring experience from a strategic function within a corporate environment and/or a consulting background.
• Have prior experience in leading teams and fostering collaboration.
• Are comfortable working in a global matrix organisation and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Have excellent communication and influencing skills.
