Step into a role where your analytical expertise and passion for creating data-driven insight make a real impact. As our new Business Analyst, you will help enable transparency, strengthen decision-making, and support senior stakeholders across the VELUX organisation.

Meet your future team

You will join the Products & Innovation Portfolio Management team, a dedicated group responsible for portfolio planning processes and the system that stores product development project data. The team is anchored within the Products & Innovation, Strategy & Execution function, creating a close link between strategy and portfolio planning.

What we offer

In this 12-month maternity cover position, you will play a central role in delivering a clearly defined roadmap focused on dashboards and transparent performance insights. You will shape how stakeholders across the organisation view data, make decisions, and prioritise actions.

More specifically, your tasks will be to:

  • Deliver on a clearly defined roadmap, with dashboards as the key output
  • Proactively engage senior stakeholders to understand business needs and clarify requirements
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely input, alignment, and decision-making
  • Translate business needs into clear insight and reporting requirements
  • Develop meaningful dashboards and performance views
  • Maintain and continuously improve dashboards and reporting
  • Ensure high data quality, consistency, and trust in reported data
  • Create transparency across portfolios, processes, and performance
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams on data models, tools, and solutions
  • Challenge existing reporting and drive improvements through insight

What you will bring

You bring a structured and proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a natural ability to translate complex insights into clear communication for senior stakeholders. You thrive in the interface between business and IT and are motivated by enabling transparency and informed decision-making.

Moreover, we expect that you:

  • Hold a degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Economics, IT, or a related field
  • Have 1–2 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in a complex or international organisation
  • Have proven experience delivering dashboards and management reporting
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bring a solid technical understanding of data, reporting, and analytics tools
  • Communicate complex insights clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Work in a structured, proactive, and delivery-oriented manner
  • Have experience collaborating across business and IT
  • Preferably have experience with Analysis for Office, SAP BW, and PowerBI (not required)
