Meet your future team

You will join a small, dedicated team of 7 people in the Product & Innovation organisation that is responsible for exploring new opportunities and developing early-stage concepts. The team works both adjacent to the VELUX product portfolio and at the core of it, focusing on innovations that enhance customer value and strengthen the business.

Collaboration is at the heart of how we work. You will engage with colleagues across the organisation and external partners to facilitate innovation processes and bring diverse perspectives together. In this role, you will play a key part in translating insights, ideas and customer needs into well‑structured business proposals that support strategic decision-making.

What we offer

In this role, you will drive the early phases of concept innovation and help shape the foundation for future solutions within VELUX. You also support strategic projects through clear and structured communication to management. More specifically your tasks will be to:

• Participate in cross‑organisational exploration of new concepts
• Drive explorative innovation projects from initial idea to proven concept
• Transform product ideas and early concepts into structured first‑stage business proposals
• Facilitate innovative processes across teams and functions
• Communicate new concepts clearly to stakeholders across the organisation
• Support strategic projects with communication materials and presentations for senior stakeholders

What you will bring

You are energised by early-stage product development and enjoy working with insights, data, and ideas to build clear and compelling proposals. You thrive in collaborative environments and value an open, easy-going approach to teamwork. Your communication skills enable you to translate complex concepts into understandable messages for stakeholders at all levels.

Moreover, we expect that you:

• Hold a master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience with early-stage product development
• Have experience with business economics and developing business proposals
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
• Have experience facilitating innovative processes
• Have knowledge of Design Thinking principles
• Bring strong technical insight and understanding
• Speak and write English fluently
