The Sound and Behavior group (Department of Biology at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense) is looking for a motivated student to help perform the daily care of their teaching and research animals: frogs, reptiles and birds.

You will work together with two other student caretakers with shifts every 3rd week. Animal care will take place in the morning before 11.00h every day of the week including weekends.

The job is about 8-10 hours per week, and for 1 year with prolongation option starting April 1st 2026.

Qualifications:
The applicant should have affinity with working with animals and preferably have experience with animal care.
The applicant should not have allergies to dust or animals.
You are a structured person who can work independently.

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant must be enrolled as student at SDU.

 
Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between the Ministry of Finance and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).
